Write everything down

I can't tell you how many people have told me. Write everything down. The time goes by so quickly, they grow up so fast and you won't remember everything. I didn't realize how true that actually was. It seemed like my pregnancy dragged on forever and ever and now here I am and my little man is already 4 and 1/2 months old. It's super fun watching him grow and learn and reach new milestones but at the same time I can't help being a little sad that it's going so fast. Anyways, do you think I took the time to write down any of the precious moments we've had? No! So I'm attempting to do it now.

When Cameron was born, he was tongue tied. We opted to have it snipped. His tongue was his new toy. For the next few days we could here him clicking and clacking trying to figure it out.

When He gets super tired he likes to talk himself to sleep. He'll grunt and tell himself stories as he's nodding off. It's super adorable. (We have a real talker, He's always got plenty to say, whether he's excited or having to tell us his sob stories because he's not so happy. It should be interesting once the words start coming)

He started Giggling from tickling on New Years Eve and since then He's had random giggling fits.(although from the very beginning he's chuckled in his sleep,I'd love to know what he dreams about) When I play with him or talk funny or kiss him real crazy. He gets a real kick out of kicking daddy. (sorry pun intended).
Along with giggling, I love his smiles. His smiles is what makes getting up in the night bearable. When I go to get him and he sees me, his face totally lights up. I love the way he looks at me. With such trust and admiration and love. He melts my heart!
When he does get up in the night and he's super hungry and I put him in position to nurse him, he gets really excited and starts to laugh I guess (I don't really know how else to describe it). I guess he's thinking "All Right, Food time!"
Although if I take him out of bed and decide to change him before feeding him, he isn't to impressed with that idea and he lets me know that too.

His favourite game is Pat-a-cake, and I'm sure if I had the endurance he'd let me do it all day. When he gets excited his whole body tenses up and he starts to shake. With pat-a-cake and other songs and games in general he loves to sing and talk along.
When I sing he sings and when I stop he stops and waits for me to start again. He even sings along at church to the hymns. I absolutely love it.

Cameron loves bath time. It's his little Aqua fit sessions. He's in there kicking and squirming and moving. Huffing and puffing the whole time. Bath time is a sure fire way to calm him down if he's fussy. Lately he's figured out that when he puts his fist in the water and then bring it quickly to his mouth, he can suck it off. So he puts his fist in, sucks over and over. It's so funny.

After Cameron has had a diaper change, he loves to have his legs kept bare. He lays there and kicks and squeals and has a grand old time.

Cameron really is a blessing in our lives. Our little miracle. I love being his mother and I love watching him and Michael grow together. He loves hanging out with Daddy and story time with Daddy. When Michael enters the room Cameron's face lights up.

Every day is a learning one with our ups and downs for all three of us. But when all is said and done, we are very rich because we have each other!
